The Sea Level Post Office

The Sea Level Post Office opened in 1947. The postmaster was Julian Gaskill and postmistress was Pauline Gaskill. There was also a store in the building, shown here as the small building attached on the left. This post office building closed when a new facility was constructed in 1986, now located one mile west on Hwy 70. The old post office structure is now a woodworking shop and the creek still runs underneath it. Tom Roberts rents the building from Julian Wayne and Pauline Gaskill.
